Water Softener Parts and Components

The Water Value Company web site is in the process of adding an extensive parts inventory. We have been very busy this week preparing the web site for the expansion of our parts and components product lines. Right now you can select and purchase nearly every part for Fleck model 2510 and 5600 control valves for either timer/filter or Econominder/metered water softener valves.

The past year has shown a dramatic increase in parts sales orders over the phone. Because these parts were not available online in the past, our phone personnel have been very busy ascertaining the parts needed by phone order customers. Making these parts and components available online will reduce the amount of time spent on phone calls thus allowing Water Value Co. to maintain low wholesale pricing.

The risk of customers ordering the incorrect part(s) has been greatly reduced by our new interactive parts catalogue. A typical customer will navigate to the Softener Parts page directly from the main menu. They can then simply click on the auto-backwashing filter or water softener control valve that they require replacement parts for. A schematic (usually taken right out of the product manual) is then displayed. By simply clicking on the part or component desired, the customer is then shown a window with the part description, options, availability and price. Unlimited quantities of parts can be ordered in this manner. It is now possible to select all the parts needed to build a complete water softener or auto-backwashing filter valve! Of course it would be less expensive to order a complete control valve instead, but when a backwashing flow control valve or o-ring gasket is the only problem you are having with your system, then it makes a great deal of sense to simply replace the bad part instead.

As always, Water Value Company recommends that only a professional works on your water treatment system. But if you are handy and have experience with these types of controls, we can now save you time and money as well as taking the guess-work out of purchasing the exact part or component that you need.
