Where
Do I Find A Dealer Local To Me?
While
this subject does not answer specific water treatment concerns,
it does rank up there with one of our most frequently asked
ones. Where do you find a local water treatment professional
to maintain or repair your equipment?
Because
of the way search engines on the Internet rank web sites,
we are often mistaken for manufacturers of the brands of
water treatment equipment that we specialize in. There are
often messages on the voice mail asking us where there might
be a Fleck
service center in Phoenix Arizona or Miami Florida. Unfortunately
the answer to that question is "we don't know".
But we're taking steps to figure it out.
We
here at Water Value can provide high quality brand name
water treatment equipment shipped same-day right to your
doorstep, and we can diagnose and provided fixes for most
of your equipment's problems, but we are unable to inspect,
or maintain this equipment over the phone. It's simply not
practical. So for John Smith in Mankato MN with an old Autotrol
model 155 control valve that's leaking, a local Autotrol
dealer/repair person would be an ideal solution.
We
have recently updated our Local
Dealer listing page to allow dealers and service centers
across the country to post their company contact information.
Once a company submits their information we will monitor
their availability twice per year and make changes accordingly.
Hopefully this service will provide the sought after solutions
to many people's water treatment repair questions.
A
note of interest here: Even though the Internet is supposed
to be full of information and answers to questions, we have
been unable to find a database of water treatment professionals.
There are several lists of plumbers but not all plumbers
are willing to repair specific water treatment components.
Autotrol used to maintain a list of "Platinum Dealers
Network" but we are unable to find a trace of that
either. If you know of any water treatment equipment repair
or service database lists out there, please contact us and
we would be happy to list it on our site.
If
you cannot find a dealer local to you, the Yellow Pages
are the next best bet. Even if a company does not state
your brand of softener or filter system in their ad, it
does not mean that they are unable to service or repair
them. Most water treatment professionals have experience
with Autotrol and Fleck control valves, Microline
reverse osmosis systems or most popular ultra-violet
water filters.
