The
Water Works™ water quality test kits for well water
are designed to accurately test and evaluate private residential
wells for the purpose of diagnosing water problems and their
solutions. Proper diagnosis of your water's contaminants makes
it easy to choose the proper treatment equipment for you.
Each
kit contains two tests for:
- Iron
- Total
hardness
- pH
- Total
Alkalinity
- Nitrites
- Nitrates
Armed
with this information, you can choose to treat iron with Birm,
Greensand, Aeration or even chlorine. In the event that nitrates/nitrites
beyond the recommended USEPA limits of 1.0 ppm (Parts Per
Million) indicate the need for reverse osmosis water treatment.
Low pH can be treated with a simple calcite filter.
