Water Works™ water quality test kits for city water
are designed to accurately test and evaluate municipal/community
water supplies for the purpose of diagnosing water problems
and their solutions. Proper diagnosis of your water's contaminants
makes it easy to choose the proper treatment equipment for
you.
Each
kit contains two tests for:
- Chlorine
- Total
hardness
- pH
- Total
Alkalinity
Armed
with this information, you can choose to treat chlorine,
hardness and pH. In the event that chlorine is causing offensive
odors and hardness is producing calcium flakes in your drinking
water glass, a simple water softener and activated carbon
treatment can be used. Low pH can be treated with a simple
calcite filter.
