The first water softener installation guide is finally finished. We chose the Fleck 5600 Econominder because it was the very first softener we started selling online, so it seem appropriate. But it sure was a lot more work than I thought it would be. We ended up at three different installation sites just to get enough photos and examples.
This installation and setup guide will in no way replace an experienced installer or plumber, but it was designed to answer the more common questions we are asked about installation of this particular model. In theory, this guide should answer all common questions that a typical 5600 Econominder installer may have.
This guide is available at the detailed information and specifications page for each of the Fleck 5600 Econominder water softeners that we sell, however it does not (yet) cover setup and installation of the cabinet style models.
